Chardon High School Shooting, Let Us Pray

Chardon High School Shooting, Let Us Pray
We all see this as a sad tragedy. We all make choices and those choices have effect on others. Some choices have more impact than others. We all have pain come into our lives at different times and to different degrees. We have to choose what to do with that pain. This young teen chose violence. The world offers us many negative choices such as drugs, alcohol, sex, violence, anger, revenge, etc. These are crutches but the only crutch that really delivers and does not harm is Jesus. He continues to be there even when we choose not to see Him. We don't always recognize what brings people to these extremes but we can pray that those touched by this event will seek the right choice for their comfort.
Let us pray:
Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and God of all comfort who comforts us in all our trouble. We bring these families to you. We ask that you meet them in their need. We ask for physical healing for those that have been injured. We ask for comfort for the families that must go through the loss of such a young family member. We ask for healing for those that have experienced such a tragic event. We also ask that you help all to forgive the sins of the shooter and to do a work in his life and to bring healing to his family. We ask that you help all of us to make the right choices and to choose You to comfort us and guide us in our decisions. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
