When you are around kids or peers that are not walking with
Christ, keep yourself in prayer. Be sure to know where your strengths and
weakness are. You can be a influence that can change their life for the better.
You can pray for them and be a friend. You must guard yourself so that they
would not have you do something to draw you away from Christ. You can pray for
strength to resist but if the temptation is too great be sure to get out. Leave
the situation and be very hesitant to get yourself in places where temptations
will be overwhelming.
45-46He got up from prayer,
went back to the disciples and found them asleep, drugged by grief. He said,
"What business do you have sleeping? Get up. Pray so you won't give in to
temptation."
13 You are tempted in the
same way all other human beings are. God is faithful. He will not let you be
tempted any more than you can take. But when you are tempted, God will give you
a way out so that you can stand up under it.
